Carlie Spence

Carlie graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy. She has over 17 years of pediatric experience. Carlie has worked in outpatient, inpatient (acute, ICU, and rehab), home health, and school settings. She is NDT trained and have had the privilege of working alongside very talented OT's, PT's and SLP's throughout her career allowing her develop a broad range experience and skills. Carlie has expertise in treating and coordinating care in infants and children with feeding difficulties (sensory, motor, failure to thrive, and tube weaning), cerebral palsy, spina bifida, down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, traumatic brain injury, near drowning, spinal cord injury, down syndrome, muscular dystrophy, and developmental delay. It is her goal to help every child and parent that she works with realize their abilities and reach their potential by developing a plan of care and home program that is unique to their circumstances. Outside of work she enjoys mountain and road biking, traveling, and most of all, spending time with her husband and daughter.

Lynne Hersom

Lynne is a licensed Occupational Therapist with 19 years of experience. Her pediatric experience has been in out- patient rehab, school systems, and home health. Lynne has worked full time in pediatrics for 6 1/2 years, but has worked with children throughout her entire career. Lynne's experience with adults has been in multiple settings including acute care, in-patient rehab, out- patient rehab, home health, and in skilled nursing facilities. Her passion is working with children and she feels blessed to be able to do something she loves. Lynne also enjoys working in her preschool ministry at church, reading, and going on bike rides.

Stephanie Springfield

Stephanie has been an Occupational Therapist for 11 years and graduated from Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. She is married with 3 wonderful children. While in OT school Stephanie gave birth to her middle son who was born with Down Syndrome. He has taught her so much about so many things and has given Stephanie the ability to relate to the parents that she works with and understand their perspective. Stephanie is from Texas and has lived here her whole life. She has always had a love and passion for children and feels fortunate that she gets to work with them every day. Stephanie has worked with a variety of children and a variety of diagnosis at every age level, including physical related disorders, oral motor/feeding difficulties, sensory processing, behavior, intellectual disabilities and more. She loves technology and what it has to offer our children. Stephanie currently works in a school district and home health and has also worked in a clinic setting. She participates in multidisciplinary teams regularly, always working together for the best interest of the kids which she thinks is very important. It is always her goal to work through the teachers and caregivers as much as possible. Stephanie feels fortunate to have found her passion in life.
